OVERVIEW

  • 85,455 tests were conducted yesterday, .85 positive rate.
  • 4 deaths reported over the last 24 hours.
  • 554 hospitalizations.

REOPENING

  • Bowling alleys can open on Monday, 8/17. Restrictions include: 50% occupancy, food & alcohol served in place by a waitstaff member, every other lane must remain open. Masks are mandatory. Cleaning and disinfecting protocols must be in place.
  • Guidance on gyms will be released on Monday, 8/17.
  • Museums and cultural institutions can open in NYC starting on 8/24. Restrictions include: 25% occupancy, pre-set staggered entry, face coverings are required.
