OVERVIEW 

  • 650 hospitalizations.
  • 156 total ICU COVID patients.
  • 9 deaths reported over the last 24 hours.
  • 76,000 tests were completed yesterday, 0.98% positive.
  • The State Liquor Authority and State Police Task Force conducted compliance checks in NYC yesterday; 37 violations were issued.

  • NY children who go to overnight camps in other states:
    The Governor stated that some states are subject to mandatory quarantine, but those states who do not have high infection rate will not have to quarantine.

  • Local health departments claiming to be "usurped:"
    The Governor said local health departments can issue guidelines, and counties have "primary responsibility."
