6/11/20 Updates 
From Governor Cuomo’s press briefing in Westchester: 

OVERVIEW 

• 36 COVID deaths recorded over the last 24 hours. 

REOPENING

• 5 regions enter Phase 3 tomorrow: Finger Lakes, Mohawk Valley, Central New York, North Country and Southern Tier.
• Localities will decide if public pools and playgrounds will open.
• COVID is increasing in 21 states.
• In NY, we are reopening and the numbers continue to go down. 

TESTING

• Daily test results will be updated every day to monitor the reopening. 

The Governor’s Office also released another Executive Order. 

Executive Order 202.40 

Highlights

• Relates to COVID-19 testing of nursing home personnel for regions in Phase II of reopening.
• Guidance regarding school district budget voting timelines.
