OVERVIEW

• 32 COVID deaths recorded over the last 24 hours.
• Lowest number of hospitalizations since March 20. 

REOPENING

• Watching the daily testing number—this number is gauging the reopening.
• New focus is on testing.
• Western NY will move to Phase 3 Tuesday.
• Capital Region moves to Phase 3 on Wednesday.
• NY has the lowest rate of transmission in the United States.
• Local governments must enforce compliance, study the data and trace positives, stop the clusters.
• Citizens need to stay smart and stay disciplined.
• Protesters need to wear a mask—it’s the law.
